The words ‘angel investor’ conjure up the image of a rich American in a three-piece suit, casually doling out a couple of hundreds of thousands of dollars to be invested in a startup. Closer home, you would probably imagine a Ratan Tata, or Infosys founders, or a steel magnate doing the same. If that’s all that you can conjure up, think again.
